This piece is inspired by an original artwork that will always hold a special place in my heart. A close friend once told me it captured my joy — and I think she was right.

The soft ocean hues and textured oysters speak to my deep connection to saltwater Country, where stories are held in every shell and tide.

This work is about sharing that joy, that memory, and that belonging — a reminder of the beauty in being open, grounded, and carried by the sea. It’s a quiet celebration of home, of healing, and of lightness.
