I recently had the pleasure of collaborating with Harli and Me, a delightful Gold Coast-based brand renowned for designing the most adorable and trendy accessories for furry friends and their humans. Their unique approach to pet fashion, which includes matching items for pets and owners, made this partnership especially exciting. The commission artwork, titled “Alkira,” was inspired by themes of joy, connection, and the natural beauty of our land.
What makes this collaboration even more meaningful is that 10% of the profits from the “Alkira” collection went to the Healing Foundation. This national Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organization provides a platform to amplify the voices and lived experiences of Stolen Generation survivors and their families. It was incredibly fulfilling to know that our collaboration not only brought beauty and joy into the lives of pet lovers but also supported such a vital cause.
