The Identity print is an artwork about my exploration through identity and self over the last few years. Each circle is representative of a part of my personality, a trait, a memory and or an emotion - that cumulatively made me who I am and got me to where I am today. Cutting across the artwork is the Meeannjin (Brisbane River), located on Jagera and Turrbal Country. Meanjin itself has been a significant part of my life for the last four years as I embarked on a journey to study and work in Meanjin. It has been the most challenging, yet rewarding years of my life and I reflect on them with positivity. The strength of the saltwater has kept me grounded in a place away from home and it will guide those who come to call on it in the future for years to come.
